Get to Know Our Disney Gurus

To help you get to know them better, we asked Barbara and Megan a few fun and personal questions about their love for Disney. Here’s what they had to say:

Barbara:

What’s a special moment you’ve created for a client that made their Disney trip extra magical?

One of the greatest joys of being a travel advisor is helping families create unforgettable memories together. A few years ago, I had the pleasure of planning a special mother-daughter getaway for a client who wanted to focus on quality time with her little girl. I took care of all the details—resort reservations, dining, experiences—so all she had to do was enjoy those precious moments together.
Fast forward two years, and she reached out again—this time to plan a full family vacation! Her husband, who wasn’t a fan of long lines, was thrilled with my expertise on the Lightning Lane system, which helped them maximize their time in the parks. From seamless itinerary planning to insider tips, I made sure their trip was just as magical and stress-free as their first.

Hearing how much my clients appreciate my knowledge and attention to detail reminds me why I love what I do. I’m here to make the planning easy—so you can focus on making memories.

”Just wanted to say thank you again for helping us with our latest Disney trip. We had a fantastic time.” (A sweet text from my client.)

What’s one underrated Disney Experience that people often over look?

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but one of my absolute favorite things to do at Walt Disney World isn’t inside a park at all! Instead, I love indulging in a self-guided Disney food tour—a fantastic way to experience the magic of Disney’s deluxe resorts while enjoying incredible food and breathtaking views, all without a park ticket!

If you had to pick, which Park is your personal favorite and why?

If I had to pick just one, it would be EPCOT. This park offers the perfect blend of culture, learning, and fun. I love starting the day with Soarin’ Around the World, where you can glide over breathtaking landscapes, followed by a journey through Arendelle on Frozen Ever After—a must for any Frozen fan! Exploring the World Showcase is always a highlight, whether it’s savoring international cuisine, watching live performances, or riding Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, where you shrink down to the size of a rat and scurry through Gusteau’s kitchen. Plus, EPCOT is constantly evolving, with exciting new attractions and festivals throughout the year, making every visit feel fresh and exciting.

One of EPCOT’s hidden gems is the surprising character meet-and-greets throughout the park. You might unexpectedly run into Mulan in China, Alice in the UK, or even Joy from Inside Out near Figment’s Imagination Pavilion!

For a truly magical dining experience, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway Pavilion offers an incredible character meal where you can meet multiple Disney princesses while enjoying a delicious Scandinavian-inspired feast.

Plus, EPCOT is constantly evolving, with exciting new attractions and seasonal festivals that make every visit unique. It’s a park where you can explore, learn, and be entertained—all in one magical place!e.

Megan:

What’s a special moment you’ve created for a client that made their Disney trip extra magical?

Helping families create moments with their favorite characters will always be the highlight for me. Whether at a character dining or a hidden meet and greet, Knowing where to find that special character can add an extra touch of magic!

What’s one underrated Disney Experience that people often over look?

The Aviary at Animal Kingdom! It’s a beautiful outdoor space where you can get up close with amazing birds. There are always knowledgeable cast members wandering around to introduce you to the colorful inhabitants! It’s always shady and a wonderful place to take a rest and grab a peaceful moment.

Or Walking with Giants - An amazing specialty tour where you get to go behind the scenes with the elephants at Animal Kingdom! A special look at how they care for the animals and an up close look at them in their habitat.

If you had to pick, which Park is your personal favorite and why?

I love Animal Kingdom. I love wandering through the lush landscapes, strolling the animal areas and soaking up the ambience. It just always seems a little quieter than the others. There are also tons of places to find amazing food at Animal Kingdom! No visit is complete for me without a stop at the Tambu lounge for a cocktail/mocktail and bread service!
