Visit to the South Carolina Aquarium - Located just a short drive from the hotel, the aquarium is a hit with kids and adults alike. From touch tanks to interactive exhibits, it’s an educational and fun experience for all ages.

Mayor William Cogswell and dignitaries from the Old Exchange, and Washington Light Infantry did a public reading of the Declaration of Independence. Fun Fact - The First Reading of the Decleration of Independence was actually in Charleston on August 5, 1776 at The Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon at the Foot of Broad Street - not July 4th!
