Discovering Turks and Caicos with Millennials in Travel: A Journey at The Palms and The Shore Club

Azure waters gently lapping against pristine white sands, a gentle breeze carrying the sweet scent of the ocean, and the warm embrace of the Caribbean sun. This idyllic scene set the stage for our unforgettable journey to Turks and Caicos, where Millennials in Travel gathered to experience the luxurious offerings of The Palms and The Shore Club, the two crowing jewels from The Hartling Group. Here’s a glimpse into our adventure:

Arrival and Icebreakers at The Palms

Our adventure began the moment we touched down in this tropical paradise. After settling into our luxurious Ocean Front Suites at The Palms, we kicked off our trip with a delightful beachside mixology class. The famous "Perfect Sunset" cocktail, crafted with vodka, rum, fresh fruit juices, and muddled kiwi and strawberry, was the perfect way to break the ice and get to know each other.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, we were treated to a stunning multi-course dinner right on the beach. The experience was made even more special by the presence of Mark, our sommelier, and Robert, the GM of The Palms, whose warm hospitality set the tone for our stay.

A Day of Pampering and Relaxation

The next morning, we gathered for a comprehensive site visit of The Palms, led by the ever-gracious GM, Robert. We then indulged in a full day of pampering at the resort’s fabulous spa, followed by some leisurely time on the picture-perfect beach of Grace Bay. The evening culminated in a delightful meal at Parallel 23, where we enjoyed one of the most creative Caesar salads we’d ever seen.

Transition to The Shore Club

After a restful night, we packed our bags and headed to the Hartling Group’s Reservation office for an insightful meeting with the dedicated team. Not before stopping in at The Sands at Grace Bay. This resort offers a harmonious balance of home comforts and sublime Caribbean elegance – as well as a picture-perfect location on the sparkling shores of Grace Bay Beach.

From there, we made our way to Long Bay and checked into The Shore Club. The property’s contemporary design and hip vibe instantly captivated us. We quickly settled into our beautifully appointed suites before hitting the beach to compare the nuances of Grace Bay and Long Bay. Long Bay’s windier conditions make it a hotspot for water sports like parasailing, kiteboarding, and jet skiing, and we loved the more secluded and private feel of the area. That evening, we dined at Sui Ren, the hotel’s trendy "Japanese Peruvian" restaurant, where the culinary delights left us thoroughly impressed.

Site Visits and Snorkeling Adventures

The following day was all about exploring and networking. We began with a thorough site visit of The Shore Club and its luxury villas before heading off-property to visit the Ritz Carlton and Beach Enclave. Upon our return, there was still time to enjoy a Snorkeling & Catamaran experience—an absolute must when visiting Turks & Caicos! The day concluded with a fantastic dinner at Almond Tree, where we savored a comforting and innovative take on Italian cuisine.

Farewell Breakfast

On our final morning, we gathered for one last breakfast together, reflecting on the incredible experiences we’d shared. A huge thank you to The Hartling Group for hosting us and making this trip an unforgettable exploration of luxury and hospitality in Turks and Caicos.

As we said our goodbyes, we knew that the memories and connections made during this trip would last a lifetime. Turks and Caicos, with its breathtaking beauty and unparalleled luxury, had truly won our hearts. I look forward to sharing my experiences and fond memories of the islands with my clients!
