If you’re a foodie visiting Charleston then you’re in for a treat! But with so many great choices, it can be overwhelming. Look no further, here is our go-to list while you’re in town!

Best Cocktail with a view: The Citrus Club at the Dewberry.
The Citrus Club offers craft cocktails that look like works of art and a view of the Holy City that can’t be beaten! One of my favorite spots for a pre-dinner drink or happy after a day of strolling the shops on King Street!
Great Dinner Spots (with reservations):
If you’re able to snag reservations at either of Mike Lata’s restaurants, FIG (Food is Good) or The Ordinary, then run don’t walk! A staple to Charlestonians, you can never go wrong at FIG (Food is Good) for quintessential Lowcountry fare. For a more seafood-focused menu, visit The Ordinary nearby. I love to pop into the ordinary after dinner for the Salted Hazelnut Budino or the Carolina Gold Rice Pudding. I enjoy interacting with the friendly bartenders that ask you about your pallet then create a custom created for you…it’s a really engaging and fun experience.
Great dinner spot that doesn’t (exactly) require reservations:
Lenoir is a new hot spot in Charleston from Eastern North Carolina Chef Vivianne Howard. Her menu offers a spotlight on the best of southern cuisine and most importantly, what’s fresh and in season at any given moment. They reserve patio and bar seating every night for walk-ins so come early to snag a spot. Make sure to start your evening with my favorite cocktail of hers, The Backhanded Compliment, a dirty martini served with pimento cheese stuffed olives.
Unique experience: Wine Blending at the Grand Bohemian Hotel. Grab a friend or 3 and make a reservation to blend your own wine in the beautiful Grand Bohemian Hotel. Not only is it a blast to try your hand at wine blending, but you also will be sent home with 2 bottles with your signature blend featuring custom wine labels as a keepsake!

Brunch (All Day!): Millers All Day on King Street offers brunch daily in an adorably decorated establishment. Its location on Lower King street offers a great jumping-off point for a day of shopping and sipping too!
